Our Office
Wayland Optometric is one of the most modern and well equipped
Optometric Offices in Upstate New York. Eye exams are completely
digital and computerized including Automated Refracting Lanes,
Auto-Refractor/Keratometer, Digital Topography, Retinal Thickness
Analyser with Scanning Laser Camera, Automated Perimeter and Gentle
Non-Contact Tonometer. The office is fully computerized meeting
government guidelines for 2014 conversion to paperless records.
We proudly serve Bath, Avoca, Hornell, Arkport, Dansville, Wayland,
Cohocton, Springwater, Naples, Honeoye, and surrounding communities in New York.
Your Exam
Please allow 30 to 90 minutes for your visit depending on your appointment type. Not all visits
with the doctor include a check of your eyeglass or contact lens prescription so please let us
know if you need a new prescription when making the appointment. Your eyes may have to be dilated
(the pupil is enlarged to allow a better view into your eye), so bring your sunglasses. Please
let us know in advance if you have any special needs or concerns or apprehension about your visit;
we strive to make your visit as comfortable as possible so we will make every effort to accommodate
you. Please bring your insurance cards with you to your appointment. All co-pays are required to be

Insurance
We accept most insurance plans. We also accept payment from most PPO
and indemnity plans. Please call our office to make an appointment and
we will answer any questions you may have.

companies have very informative sights with a lot of information about
your plan and coverage. After viewing your insurance companies web site
you still have questions, call our office and ask for Anna or Debbie
and explain you need help with an insurance question and they will do
their best to find the answer.
Payment Options
We accept all major credit cards, ATM cards, cash, and personal
checks. For our patients' convenience we have arranged a payment plan
through CareCredit, which helps our patients receive their treatment
in a timely manner.
